Live beach flags, surf, and tides
The Beach Vibes shows the beach report for 19 U.S. beaches: the flag, the waves, the wind, the rain, the tide, the sun, the air, and a call for ten activities. It is the same report as the iPhone app, without an account.
Pick a beach, a day, and an hour. The picture changes with the time of day, the rain, and the wind. Today uses the official lifeguard flag when that beach has a lifeguard program and the flag was checked within about 30 hours. Later days use the predicted flag. Orange marks an hour that needs a heads-up.

Questions
- Which beaches show an official lifeguard flag?
- Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Dauphin Island, Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach, Destin, Grayton Beach, Rosemary Beach, Seaside, and Panama City Beach, for today, when the flag was checked within about 30 hours. Later days use the predicted flag. The flag guide lists the colors.
- What do Clean, Fair, and Choppy mean?
- They are words on the wave box, not the activity colors. Clean is a light wind opposing the swell. Fair is in between. Choppy is a harder wind blowing with the swell.
- Do the activity colors match the app?
- Yes. Green is Perfect time, blue is Not Ideal, and red is Not Recommended. A flag can add the reason, the same way the app does.
- Is The Beach Vibes on Google Play?
- The Android app is in a closed beta and is expected on Google Play by summer 2026. The iPhone app is on the App Store.
